Rainbet Dice: one slider, two numbers

Rainbet Dice is an in-house game built around a single slider. Where you place it sets your chance of winning and what a win pays, and the game shows both before each roll.

What is Rainbet Dice?

Rainbet Dice is one of the Rainbet Originals. You bet that a roll will land over or under a number you choose. A wide winning range pays a small multiplier, and a narrow one pays a large multiplier.

What's the difference between roll over and roll under?

There's no difference in the odds. Roll over wins when the result is above your number, and roll under wins when it's below. They're two sides of one bet, so a matching range on either side has the same chance and the same payout. Use whichever reads more naturally to you.

How does the slider change the payout?

Moving the slider trades chance for payout. At the default of 50.50 the game is close to an even bet. Slide towards a narrow range and the multiplier climbs while the win chance drops. Slide the other way and wins come often but pay little.

How do you play a roll?

  1. Enter a stake.
  2. Choose roll over or roll under.
  3. Drag the slider and read the multiplier and win chance.
  4. Roll. A result inside your range pays stake times the multiplier.

What are Manual and Auto?

Manual and Auto are the two betting modes on the Dice page, and there's a Demo Mode as well. Try a slider position in Demo Mode first, to see how a win chance of, say, one in ten plays out over many rolls.

How do you verify a dice roll?

Every roll is produced from a client seed, a hashed server seed and a nonce that rises by one with each bet. After rotating your seeds you can open any past bet and confirm its roll. Rainbet provably fair explains the method.

You can edit your client seed at any time. Changing it doesn't improve your odds, but it does show that the result depends on a value you control.

Who is Dice good for?

Dice suits players who want the numbers in plain view. Nothing is hidden in a paytable. Rainbet Limbo is the closest relative, and every in-house game is listed on Rainbet Originals.
