Rainbet Mines: grid sizes, mine count and max RTP
Rainbet Mines is an in-house game played on a grid of hidden tiles. You pick one of four grid sizes and the number of mines, and the game is provably fair.
What is Rainbet Mines?
Rainbet Mines is one of the Rainbet Originals. Before the round you choose a grid size and how many mines to hide in it. In Mines games generally, you then open tiles one by one: a safe tile grows the payout, and a mine ends the round.

How does the mine count change the game?
In Mines games generally, the mine count sets how steeply the multiplier climbs. With few mines, each safe tile adds a little and a round can last a long time. With many mines, each safe tile adds a lot and the round rarely survives more than a few clicks.
The grid size works with it. Three mines on 64 tiles is a gentle game. Three mines on 25 tiles is much sharper, since a far larger share of the grid is dangerous.
How does a Mines round generally run?
- Set a stake, a grid size and a number of mines.
- Start the round and open a tile.
- After each safe tile, either open another or cash out at the multiplier shown.
- If you open a mine, the round ends and the stake is lost.
When should you stop?
Decide your stopping point before the first tile. The multiplier always has room to grow, which is what makes stopping hard once a round is going well. A fixed target, such as three safe tiles, keeps the choice out of the heat of the round.
What does the 96% maximum RTP mean?
The Mines page shows a maximum RTP of 96.00%. That's the highest long-run return the game can reach, and it sits below the 99.00% shown on Dice or Limbo. Over a short session, your results will mostly reflect when you chose to stop.
Can the mines move during a round?
No. The mine positions are set by the seed pair and nonce before you open anything, so a click can't shift them. After you rotate your seeds, you can confirm where every mine was. Rainbet provably fair lists the steps.
Mines has a demo mode. Use it to compare a low and a high mine count on the same grid before playing for real.
